************IKEA***************

Weeeeeeeeeeellll......my hubby and I have been planning for months to redecorate our cozy little apartment. We've been going back and forth with ideas, and for a little while all our ideas have been on hold...sort of. Don't know if it was lack of motivation or something else, but this past Friday I started to "organize" at home, by that I mean I threw papers in a neat little box and put it away.....will get to them at another time.

Anywho, my hubby came home that day and we cleaned and moved things around all day. The biggest project was to move our FIOS router to another room. It took some time...and a few selected curses...both from me and my man.........but we got it to work. I was going to have Verizon to come out and do it for me........but I was told I was going to be charged $160.........at least. So...since I know I would love to spend that money on something else I decided that my husband and I could do it........... And yesterday I DID spend that $160 ( and a little more )...........at IKEA!!!!!

I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way but it always feels so....cozy(?) walking in through the entrance to IKEA......and there's usually some big letters on the wall saying "Hej" (Hello in Swedish)......and then walking through the showroom with all the furniture...with names like Bosse,Skara....Alva...Glimma and of course my favorite...a shelf named Hedvig! The best part is sitting down in the cafe with a cup of coffee and some meatballs...not my mothers recipe but it will do...and just sit there! It's so Swedish and it feels pretty damn good!

So that's what we did on Saturday, we also went to a birthday party at my sister in law's apartment. Her husband has started his new job as the, should I call it a superintendent(?)...not really sure but he pretty much runs the show there. It's a newly renovated building, no one has moved in yet (kinda spooky)..........he showed us around and I think I found where I want to live. We were shown a penthouse with and amazing view.........insane!!!!!!! So if we could win about 4 million dollars now that would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my husband and I went straight to work, with the redecorating that is....hehehhe...! We put together the new tv-table.....cleaned...cleaned....cleaned....and threw away some books (not alot of them cause I can't throw away books....). So now the apartment looks totally different (we confused our little cat Spotty, but she got over it pretty fast..I think), we are not done...but we have accomplished alot this weekend. Phew!

That's all for now folks............

;-) Men men!
