It's Saturday afternoon, home alone....it's raining and it feels like it's time to try out a new recipe. Checked out www.delish.com and I found a "Maple Baked Beans" recipe...........I have never been to fond of beans. Maybe I had a traumatic experience in the school cafeteria...don't know.... brown beans....iiiish!
My husband is latin and he LOVES beans, but I never make them. So hopefully this will be a nice surprise when he gets home, MAMA MADE BEANS!!!
Next week it's his birthday, have no clue what to give him. We usually don't give eachother presents, we go on vacations together instead. Hopefully this year we'll make it home to Sweden this christmas...not sure yet. But I'm being positive....we will go home...that's my mantra!
Anywho...back to the beans......they're in the oven and they will be in there for about 4 hours....

Ha ha, kom till Puerto Rico och du kommer att få äta bönor tills du storknar ;-) Vi äter inte det så ofta hemma men det är gott ibland.
Jodu, min svarmor ar expert med allt som har med bonor att gora...hon ar fran Ecuador o dar har man ju alltid bonor till ris......
